Your trust and confidence is very important to us. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We understand that site visitors and registered users need to remain in control of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how and why we collect personal data (PII) from you and how we use it.

Obtaining your PII

When you access the A. D. Sharing and Using your PII with third parties

Your PII may be used and shared in the following ways:

  • For the specific purpose for which your PII is provided to us by you or by our Client, such as to ship materials to you, to submit forms about you to insurance companies to enable you to do business for them, or to obtain information from or make certification or other filings on your behalf with state insurance regulatory agencies or their designees, the National Insurance Producer Registry Gateway, FINRA, and similar entities (collectively referred to as “Regulators”). Your PII may also be accessed by any person or company authorized by these entities to access your PII.
  • If you are an employee of, a registered person associated with or an independent agent of one or more of our Clients, if you have purchased a Pre-licensing or Continuing Education Product or Service provided by one of our Clients or you have redeemed a voucher to access A. D. Banker Products or Services you received from one of our Clients, to allow such Clients to view and administer your PII, the status of its requests of us or the status or your use of our Products or Services. Your PII may also be accessed by any person or company authorized by such Clients to access your PII.
  • To provide you with information via email, mail or telephone regarding your transactions with us, your usage of our Products and Services or transactions with the third parties noted previously on your behalf, or to contact you with information that may be of use or interest to you.
  • To provide or enhance A. D. Banker’s Products and Services or to develop new ones. We may use our affiliates or other unaffiliated companies to perform services on our behalf, such as managing hosting services or processing services to facilitate our business and the provision of services to you. These other companies may be supplied with or have access to your PII solely for the purpose of providing these services to us or on our behalf, and directly or indirectly, to you.
  • A. D. Banker may disclose PII to other third parties if we, at our sole discretion, believe it is required by law, to comply with legal process served on A. D. Banker, by Regulators, to enforce our agreements with our Clients, to enforce this Privacy Policy, or in connection with a transaction with similar effect.

Security of your PII

A.D. Banker utilizes a number of security technologies, policies and procedures that are designed to protect your PII from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. A. D. Banker has implemented security technologies on the network, server, and application levels and uses secure (“SSL”) connections and encryption policies designed to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your PII during transmission. We cannot, however, control the manner in which your PII is transmitted to us, either by you, a third party acting on your behalf or by one of our Clients, or the manner in which Regulators may require disclosure of your PII to them. A.D. Banker’s procedures regarding the handling of your PII are designed to comply with the requirements of United States laws and regulations.
